Questions and Answers

Consultations are your chance to voice exactly what you are looking for. The more I understand about you the better my service can be. I offer free consultations and there are no obligations to sign up for any plans or packages.

 

Q: How long are consultations?

A: They usually last anywhere between 30 minutes and one hour, (depending on how chatty we're feeling.)

 

Q: What should I wear?

A: Something you are comfortable moving in. Although we may not have time to get to the physical assessment if we do it's important you have the freedom to move your body.

 

Q: What does a consultation entail?

A: I will ask you some questions regarding your fitness history, your main goals, barriers you have encountered in the past (so we can overcome them) and basic health/injury screening. Once I've established a good sense of where you're at I can make suggestions of what service will be best to help you reach your goals. I take into account everything from exercise history, injuries, preferences and finances to arrive at a level of commitment that you are happy with. 

The second part of the consultation is to perform a physical assessment to check things such as posture, range of motion, movement patterns, biomechanics and baseline strength, fitness. From there I can make an informed and detailed programme plan and recommendations to you on how best we go about achieving your goals.
